Submissions Period

(due to an overwhleming response to our call for manuscripts, we are abbreviating our original submission period)
Submissions Guidelines
- We now only accept electronic submissions. Please visit http://blackclock.org/submgr/ for more information.
- We will no longer be accepting snail-mail submissions. If we do receive a submission via snail-mail, it will not be read, nor will it be returned.
- Please limit yourself to 1 (one) submission per reading period. In the instance that we receive multiple submissions, only the first submission received will be considered.
- To be considered for publication, the following information must appear on the first page of the submission:
- the author's name;
- the author's snail-mail address;
- the author's phone number;
- the author's email address.
- Work should be submitted as an attachment in Microsoft Word, a file format that can be opened with a standard word processing application (.txt, .rtf) or as an Adobe Acrobat PDF.
- All manuscripts, excepting poetry, should be double-spaced.
- We encourage all writers to simultaneously submit their work to other publications while awaiting response from Black Clock.
- It is highly recommended that you read an issue or two before submitting work.
- All pieces will be read by at least two members of our editorial staff.
- No manuscripts will be accepted outside the assigned submission period.
- Our reporting time is no less than six months and up to one year.
- First potential publication date: Black Clock 10 (Winter 2009)
